OBJECTIVE

The last workshop was held in November, 1999 at Yokkaichi City in Japan and we had very significant results as described in the homepage of ETERNET-APR. As mentioned in the Summary, 6 collaborative research project and 4 proposals for international collaborative researches have been given by the participants from foreign and Japanese research organizations. Since then, one proposal was applied to a Japanese budget scheme and was accepted as an international collaborative research.

The main theme of the Seventh International Workshop is "Implementation of international collaborative researches on environmental technology". The aim of this Workshop is to make the progress in the international collaboration among the participants through discussion and information exchange, in order to prepare concrete research plans. The foreign participants are going to stay at their counterpart institutes in Japan for understanding what researches are conducted and what collaboration will be done.
